Here at The Bear & Ragged Staff we have nine bedrooms – four in the converted Old Cottages (including one Twin) and five Ancient above the pub (including A Family Suite sleeping four, two Connecting Kings and two further Doubles). Due to the great age and Grade II* listing of the building for its historic significance, the rooms over the pub are quirky and delightful, but not terribly accessible to guests of less than full mobility. The Old Cottage rooms are also upstairs, but with wider and shorter steps up to them. Bring your pooch along for your next trip and stay in one of our dog-friendly rooms. We only have a few available so call the team for availability
If you’d like to find out more about our rooms, book a stay or talk to us about your visit, please call on 01869 220412 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
All of our rooms have really comfy beds, great linen, power showers and lovely toiletries, as well as mod cons like flat-screen TV with Freeview, free WiFi and tea and coffee-making equipment. We removed all plastic bottles from our bathrooms earlier in the year, replacing them with a refillable and more eco-friendly aluminium bottle. We love well-behaved dogs with several rooms available so your ‘other’ best friend can come with you, call us directly on 01869 220412 as we cannot take online bookings.
*Not in all rooms.
Get the most from your stay at The Bear & Ragged Staff with our Peachy Perks, whether it be for a family staycation, business trip or simply a night away from the same four walls, we’ve got you covered and our duvets do too, literally.
Found in the heart of Oxfordshire, The Bear & Ragged Staff is the ideal place to visit for a weekend away. No matter whether you are here to work, relax, study, eat, drink or be entertained, the surrounding area has lots to offer. Why not take a trip to Blenheim Palace or the Cotswold Wildlife Park?
We want you to feel as relaxed as possible in our pub. Safety has always been important to us, and now even more so than ever. There are several new ways we have adjusted to maintain both yours and our team’s health whilst you stay with us; from hand sanitiser around the pub, to spaced out tables and beautifully covered outside areas.
Guests are welcome to wear face coverings when inside the pub but this is your choice. As we keep safety top priority, our team will continue to wear face coverings.
