Weekly Happenings

    Every Day: Cocktails aren’t just for the weekend. Join us 5-7pm any day of the week for Early Doors, order one cocktail or mocktail, and the second one is on us.

    Monday – Wednesday: Ditch the kitchen and head to your local to enjoy two gastropub classics for £25, every Monday to Wednesday. Choose our 14-hour Braised Beef & Ale Pie, Watermelon, Edamame & Rice Noodle Salad, Aubrey Allen’s Steak Burger, and our sustainably sourced Fish & Chips.

    Wednesday – Friday: Don’t miss out on sausage o’clock! Join us at the bar, Wednesday – Friday, between 5-6pm, to enjoy a taste of Jimmy Butler’s finest sausages. Served alongside planet-saving Rubies in the Rubble ketchup. Once they’re gone, they’re gone!

    Saturday: Join us for Butcher’s Night! Enjoy Aubrey Allen’s finest cuts and Chef’s sharing dishes on our specials, perfectly paired with award-winning wine. We’ve been known to crack open a Magnum, especially for the occasion…

    Sunday: Join us for our Sunday Set Lunch Menu to enjoy two courses for £26 or three courses for £32.

     

    ENGLISH ASPARAGUS IS BACK

      Blink and you’ll miss it… the wonderful, yet all too brief, asparagus season is here. These sweet, tasty spears are grown for us on the beautiful South Downs, from our friends at Barfoots Farm. Just like us, they care about Making Life Peachy, with a commitment to “looking after the land like you are going to farm forever”.

      Find it on our specials board, served with classic hollandaise and a soft poached egg. A glass of No.1 Provence Rosé wouldn’t be out of place either…

      Tapas on the Terrace

        Join us from 6pm on Friday 23rd or Saturday 24th for an evening of alfresco dining. Enjoy a delicious selection of tapas and top-quality drinks, on our lovely terrace. Perfect for a laid-back evening with friends!

        Late May Bank Holiday

          Who doesn’t love a long weekend? Enjoy a great roast on Sunday, before easing into Bank Holiday Monday with our Bank Holiday specials. Book a table and we’ll see you then.

            What better way to celebrate the important men in our lives than with the age-old tradition of Sunday lunch in your local and beers on us!

            Enjoy top-quality British beef from Aubrey Allen, Jimmy Butler’s free-range pork, or our delicious vegetarian wellington with all the glorious trimmings.
