Children at The Bear

We recognise the importance of catering to the younger members of the community and keeping them occupied. Happy and occupied children are good for us and good for their parents and friends. The less grouchy and bored the better! At the Bear and Ragged Staff we extend a warm welcome to children of all ages.

Of notable interest to younger members of the Bear fraternity would be:-

• For toddlers and tiny tots we have high chairs which can be booked on request.
• A selection of colouring books and crayons for those slightly older.
• We also offer a special Children's menu which can be found at the click of a button elsewhere on this page. Items here are priced from £ 6.50
• Many of our a la carte menu dishes and also Sunday roasts can be provided as children's portions and priced accordingly.

• Our garden. in addition to the picnic tables, also boasts a climbing frame and slide, plus a doll's house. The whole family can be catered in the garden so Mum and Dad can keep an eye on the children as long as they happily play away.
• For the computer savvy children the Bear is Wi-Fi enabled. No passwords are required, just surf away on your laptop or mobile phone.
